Manuel Correia is an award-winning game designer with a focus on systems design, innovative game mechanisms and making games that bring people together. Since 2010 he has worked in a wide variety of genres and platforms including PC, Consoles, Mobile, AR and VR. Alongside his career in videogames, he creates boardgames.
Manuel has a thirst for knowledge about games, their history and what makes them tick. He thrives when there is a chance to be creative and put it all in practice, such as brainstorms or better yet: developing a pitch for a new game.
After 10 years working abroad he returned to Portugal and now works remotely.
Manuel is currently working at Redcatpig as a Lead Game Designer on an exciting (but secret) project.
